VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Barnes County 4-Hers participated in the county Project Expo Contest held this summer at the Sheyenne Care Center in Valley City.
4-H advisor Sue Milender Toppen said the objectives of the contest was to provide youth with an experience in planning, preparing and displaying an article or educational exhibit. To give youth an opportunity for self-expression verbally and visually and to provide youth with an opportunity to share with others what they have learned in the specific project.
All contestants will have the opportunity to compete at the State Fair in Minot July 19th – 27th in Minot, ND. Judges (not pictured) were Jeannie Magee and Kim Owen.
