BEULAH, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) The Cardinals scored the very first touchdown of the game but it was all Beulah after that as the No. 1 ranked Miners roll past the Cardinals 32-15 in Class 11B non-region High School Football Friday night. Beulah improves to 2-0 overall and Carrington falls to 1-1 overall.

Sophomore QB Grady Shipman connected with Senior Drew Schroeder for an 18-yard TD reception in the end zone for the first score of the game, the extra point was good by Jack Paulson making it 7-0 with 7:23 left in the first quarter. But then the Miners scored five TD’s unanswered, one each from Amari Gilmore, Trapper Skalsky and Zayne Phelps. Senior QB Trey Brandt scored two touchdowns in the fourth quarter to put the game away 32-7. Jacob Page would score the last TD of the game on a 2-yard QB keeper late in the game.

Next up for Carrington will be back at home next Friday night against Park River Area for an 11B Northeast contest, KDAK will have the game starting about 630pm pregame.
